It is necessary to know precisely where your feet hurt, to ease your foot from aching. Some common points of pain are on the heel area, arch and ball of the foot.

The Heel pain or Arch pain – may be caused by plantar fasciitis, an inflammation of a muscle or band that connects the heel bone to the toes, many persons feel more pain in the morning with the first steps.
Heel spur pain – are caused by abnormal growths on the heel area, some
people report pain on the bottom of the heel when walking or just standing.

Is recommended to use some cushioned insoles, with heel padding, spur-shaped padding or cutout ( punched hole) padding and an arch padding or extra cushioning in the middle of the foot doing this may help you to get better support to the foot.

Ball of the foot pain – many times is caused for wearing tight shoes or by heavy activities like jumping or running. In women sometimes the feeling of numbness, pain or burning sensation over the ball of the foot many times is caused for wearing high heels. To avoid this sensation wear insoles with a smaller dome pad located between the 3rd and 4th toes, since pumps do not have room for full-length insoles try a sulcus or 3/4 of the full length.
For other footwear, you may use insoles with big domed padding to relieve pressure at the ball of the foot and use comfortable shoes.

If the pain is under the great toe on the ball of the foot, you may have Sesamoiditis. In this case, the insoles with a pad called dancer’s pad may fit better to help relieve pressure.

Diabetic Foot Neuropathy or nerve damage is the worst pain at any point of the foot or the whole foot. The pain may feel like burning, stinging, or a sensation of walking on broken glass all the time, it is excruciating.
